INTERIOR DESIGN BURO by ALENA BULATAYA и Мария Бриш воплотили в жизнь идеи декорирования дома у озера и предоставили услуги по дизайну интерьера для дома в Латвии, расположенного на склоне леса и на берегу озера одновременно.
Хозяин дома у озера и его семья живут в нескольких странах, поэтому он не торопился с реализацией проекта: от начального этапа до полностью готового интерьера дома у озера с домашним декором прошло около 9 лет. Семья долго искала подходящий участок земли: хозяин хотел построить дом в лесу, а его жена мечтала о доме у прекрасного озера. В результате нашлось место, которое совмещало и то, и другое. У дома есть собственный пруд, с запада его окружает впечатляющий, живописный лес. С восточного фасада можно любоваться видом на озеро.
Простора для творчества и дизайнерских идей предостаточно: площадь дома составляет более 790 м² и включает четыре спальни, пять ванных комнат, просторную общую зону с открытой террасой, кабинет и бассейн, расположенный в подвале дома у озера, а также винную комнату, зону отдыха и бильярдную.
Простые, монохромные, наполненные воздухом пространства дизайнеры оформили в спокойной цветовой гамме с помощью тщательно подобранной коллекции картин и предметов искусства, привезенных из разных стран. Благодаря обилию идей декора интерьер дома у озера не выглядит загроможденным, а наоборот, производит впечатление воздушного и свежего пространства.
GROUND FLOOR
Простора для творчества и дизайнерских идей предостаточно: площадь дома составляет более 790 м² и включает четыре спальни, пять ванных комнат, просторную общую зону с открытой террасой, кабинет и бассейн, расположенный в подвале дома у озера, а также винную комнату, зону отдыха и бильярдную.
Простые, монохромные, наполненные воздухом пространства дизайнеры оформили в спокойной цветовой гамме с помощью тщательно подобранной коллекции картин и предметов искусства, привезенных из разных стран. Благодаря обилию идей декора интерьер дома у озера не выглядит загроможденным, а наоборот, производит впечатление воздушного и свежего пространства.
The first thing that greets you at the entrance is the majestic foyer. Spacious and bright, it immediately creates a sense of harmony and unity with nature. Massive columns supporting transparent partitions add refined elegance to the space, while large windows let in soft, enveloping light that highlights the texture of natural materials—stone and wood. The carved door, Japanese benches, chandeliers, guardian statues in the form of Asian lions, carved wooden ethnic ornament on the ceiling centerpiece, columns with botanical capitals, and Japanese wall panels with characteristic divisions—all contribute to a special atmosphere in the interior.
As you enter this home, you feel warmth and coziness filling the space, inviting you to take your first step inside.At the heart of the villa lies a small oasis guarded by traditional Balinese sculptures—a courtyard garden that seems to bring nature indoors. A few steps on the soft stone floor lead you to this living corner, where eternal spring reigns. Gravel crunches underfoot, while green trees and shrubs rise around you, gently framed by natural stones.
The garden is illuminated by soft light installations, which transform it into a magical forest in the evening. It feels as though this garden is the living heart of the home, filling the villa with life energy, bringing peace and tranquility.From the garden, the path leads you to the dining area, which immediately captures attention with its simplicity and elegance. At the center is a large stone table carved from a single piece of travertine, surrounded by soft and comfortable chairs ready to welcome your guests. Above the table is a lighting installation in the form of hanging cylinders that seem to float in the air, creating a sense of lightness and spaciousness.
The walls are adorned with traditional Asian panels depicting nature, emphasizing the organic feel of the interior and its connection to culture and the outside world. Natural light streams in through panoramic windows, filling the space with warmth and coziness, creating an atmosphere where every meal becomes a special moment.

ГОСТИНАЯ/КУХНЯ
Вход в дом начинается со стеклянного коридора, открывающего вид на гостиную с высоким скошенным потолком, совмещенную с кухней и столовой. Одна из стен комнаты как будто растворяется, впуская в интерьер дома живописную местность с насаждениями и прудом, и открывая вид на лес. Гостиная отделена от кухни и столовой несколькими колоннами, которые являются важными конструктивными опорами и одновременно элементами декора и зонирования. Столовая залита светом благодаря нескольким окнам.
Прямо в центре гостиной находится важный элемент освещения — камин. Его фасады облицованы тонким слоем мрамора, который, пропуская свет, наполняет гостиную мягким светом по всему фасаду — от пола до потолка.
After dining, you are invited into the meeting room, where minimalism meets luxury. A spacious room, with light streaming in through large windows that open up views of the surrounding landscape. Natural materials—wood and stone—add warmth and earthiness to the room, while an original chandelier resembling gentle waves creates soft and pleasant lighting. Here, in this calm and elegant atmosphere, it’s easy to tune into productive conversation or simply relax and enjoy the moment.

KITCHEN
The kitchen concept was developed through the use of natural materials and textures, with a soft dark herb color for the cabinetry combined with wood and travertine. The abundance of storage systems in the lower part allowed for a lighter furniture design and the elimination of upper cabinets, bringing more light into the space. The walls feature small-format tiles. An arched structure made of microcement seamlessly connects the passageway to the pantry, the outdoor area, and the entrance to the main rooms of the villa.

LOUNGE ZONE
From the meeting room, the path leads you to the kitchen and lounge area, which continue the overall concept of harmony and coziness. Stone countertops, wooden cabinets—every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a sense of warmth and comfort.
Living plants and vertical gardens refresh the space, infusing it with natural harmony. Here, in a cozy and comfortable setting, it’s delightful to spend time with family or friends, enjoying peace and comfort.
BRIGHT ACCENTS

The final touch in this journey is the external garden—a true paradise where every element of the space seems designed for meditation and relaxation. Wooden pathways lead you to secluded relaxation areas where you can immerse yourself in reading or simply enjoy the surrounding beauty. Stone compositions, Balinese umbrellas, bonsai trees, minimalist furniture, and partially ruined columns and statues create an atmosphere of seclusion and serenity, where time seems to stand still.
POOL & SPA ZONE
When you enter this Balinese-style pool, you are immediately immersed in an atmosphere of seclusion and tranquility, where nature embraces you from all sides. The emerald water of the pool sparkles softly, creating a striking contrast with the dark walls and ceiling, rendered in deep natural tones, as if you have stepped into a cave grotto.
Around the pool, rocky walls of natural stone rise up, covered in moss and lush greenery. The plants placed around the perimeter add freshness, giving the feeling that you are in nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
From the first floor to the ground floor, a waterfall gently cascades down, adding the sounds of flowing water, which fill the space with a sense of harmony and serenity.
This striking element enhances the feeling of being in a natural oasis, creating a relaxing atmosphere.The interior also features fabric roll-up screens with watercolor Japanese paintings, adding lightness and artistic elegance.
Sliding doors with textiles in a Japanese theme harmoniously connect the pool area with the other spaces, creating a smooth transition between interiors while maintaining an atmosphere of mystery and coziness.This pool seems to be designed to offer you moments of peace and tranquility, where you can forget everything, immersing yourself in harmony with nature.

Natural materials are used here: smooth stone, warm wood, and natural fabrics, creating a sense of coziness and harmony. The light softly plays on the surfaces, highlighting the textures, while accents like plants add freshness and brightness.The imitation of a straw roof overhead gives the space a unique lightness and completeness, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and rest. This restroom is a continuation of your journey into a world of peace and serenity.

Upon entering this men’s room, where only Arab men gather, you are immediately immersed in an atmosphere of sophistication and harmony. The deep green walls create a sense of freshness, while the bright red chairs and geometric patterned rug enliven the interior, adding dynamic energy. Soft sofas and intricately carved wooden elements, along with live plants, create a cozy and comfortable space where every detail is meticulously thought out.
Here, time seems to stand still, leaving the hustle and bustle of the outside world behind.The defining elements of the style include: — An ornate, illuminated ceiling with textured ornamental plaster.-
Painted panels with wooden moldings.- Japanese-style panel fabric curtains.- Perforated metal columns.Lighting fixtures play an important role, featuring straw lampshades made from reed bark with light fabric diffusers, providing a relaxing and glowing effect.
MEN WASH & BATH
Massive stone sinks combined with glossy porcelain tiles that mimic natural materials create a unique atmosphere in the bathroom.
LADIES MAJLIS

In this room for Arab women, there is an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility, where every detail is designed to create harmony. The soft tones of the walls and the rounded shapes of the furniture invite relaxation and conversation.The ceiling is a true work of art, made from precious woods and inlaid with stones.
It draws attention with its intricate Eastern design and elegant lighting, creating a play of shadows and light. The ornate lamps and soft carpets add a touch of mystery and coziness to the room.In the TV area, translucent onyx is used, which is backlit from within to create a special atmosphere.The furniture is arranged to create a comfortable space for socializing, with round tables and cozy chairs. Plants and minimalist decorative elements on the walls connect the interior with nature, adding freshness and serenity.
From the ladies' room, through sliding doors with a concealed opening mechanism, designed in a Japanese style, you can access the wash area, and from there, the bath. This room is designed for women to gather, enjoy peace and privacy in a luxurious setting.

Continuing from the ladies' room, we step into the women’s washroom and bath area. The design of these two spaces is carefully crafted to maintain the pleasant impression left by the ladies' room while enhancing the atmosphere of relaxation.In the washroom, only natural materials have been used—fabric, wood, natural stone, and metal—creating a serene and organic environment.
The transition to the bath area reveals a subtle change in textures, where the fabric panels are replaced by Italian porcelain tiles with a natural texture, adding an elegant touch while maintaining a connection to nature. Each element in these rooms is designed to seamlessly extend the calming and luxurious experience from the ladies' room, providing a cohesive and tranquil sanctuary.
GARAGE
You find yourself in a stylish garage that impresses with its thoughtful design. Light, natural tones of the walls and floor create a sense of space and cleanliness, with materials reminiscent of natural stone and wood.
The cars here become part of the sophisticated interior, their bright colors contrasting with the warm tones of the room. Soft light filters through the panoramic windows and ceiling panels, enhancing the feeling of openness and harmony.
Carved wooden panels on the walls create an impressive play of light and shadow, while built-in lighting adds warmth and comfort. The arched passages and staircase leading to other rooms are designed with the same elegance as the rest of the house, emphasizing the unity of the design.
This garage is not just a place for storing cars, but a stylish and well-thought-out space that harmoniously fits into the overall design of the home.
MAD’S ROOM
Continuing our journey through the house, we enter the servant’s room, which impresses with its simplicity and refinement. Warm wood tones and soft textures create a sense of comfort and tranquility. The low, minimalist beds and neat bedside tables with live plants add a feeling of lightness and coziness.
The wallpaper with bamboo and bird motifs brings a touch of natural harmony, encouraging relaxation. The adjoining bathroom is designed with natural materials and textures, maintaining the overall style. The transparent shower enclosure and plants add freshness, creating a space for rest and rejuvenation.
