“JOHN DORY” FISH SHOP
John Dory is one of the largest fresh fish and seafood suppliers in the country. For more than 8 years of the fish market existence, the brand of the fish shop has been designed in black and white colors combined with wooden elements in the decoration.
The customer’s representatives contacted our studio to create a design for another fish market selling point. We offered to update it stylistically and added some characteristic products to the design of the new fish shop: tiles resembling fish scales; chandeliers in the form of fish nets; panels made of metal corrugated board, reminiscent of containers for transporting fish and other elements.
One of the innovations was a bar counter and a dining table, where you can wait for the preparation of a take away order or try something on the spot. John Dory’s partner in many stores is a wine supplier, therefore, the client can shop fresh fish and a bottle of wine for dinner.

Our task was to renovate the interior of the John Dory store in the Nova Borovaya district — our first location in a new format with a fully equipped kitchen. Alena approached the project creatively and with fresh thinking. Together, we created a light, unobtrusive space with distinctive accents, while staying within budget and navigating strict brand guidelines. The result is a beautiful space loved not only by us, but also by the residents of Nova Borovaya.
Наша задача заключалась в обновлении интерьера магазина John Dory в районе Новая Боровая — это был наш первый объект в новом формате с полностью оборудованной кухней. Алёна подошла к проекту творчески и нестандартно. Мы создали лёгкое, ненавязчивое пространство с выразительными акцентами, уложились в бюджет и учли строгие требования брендбука. В итоге получилось прекрасное пространство, которое полюбилось не только нам, но и жителям Новой Боровой.
